Jonathan Clamp
Hi, I’m Jonathan - I love living in Battersea because it has soul!
High streets bustling with a diverse mix of people and shops give way to quiet, tree-lined side streets where you can feel the calm. Buses galore connecting you left, right and centre; trains and tubes taking you far afield. Battersea has the right balance - the park and other green spaces provide the beating heart that draws the whole community in - whether, as a regular runner like me, or those playing sports, using the playgrounds, or wanting a stroll with the dog.
At a time when people are really concerned about the rising cost of living, Wandsworth Council has been able to alleviate pressures by cutting council tax for residents. 44 years of sound financial management by Local Conservatives means the Council can afford to care for people in harder times. That's worth preserving.
Keith Kelsall
Keith moved to Wandsworth soon after graduating from university and has lived in the area since 1991. Keith is married to Ingrid, and they have three daughters at nearby schools. After a 30-year career as a portfolio manager in the city, Keith is now embarking on a completely new career, training to be a secondary maths teacher at Harris Academy Morden.
Keith is passionate about the borough and strongly believes it is, and will continue to be the best region of London to live in.
Marie Hanson MBE, UPF Ambassador for Peace
Marie is the founder and CEO of a charity, STORM Family Centre, and has previously been a conservative councillor for the ward of Queenstown. She is extremely passionate about the community’s wellbeing, as well as being an advocate for people in need, and of course charity work.
Marie has lived in Wandsworth for 25 years and her charity is also based in the borough (in Battersea).
Marie’s dream for the ward, is that it goes forward, and continues, to be a great, safe, clean, and sustainable place to live in.
Should she be re-elected for the new ward of Shaftesbury & Queenstown, she will continue to serve the community by being a good listening ear and a strong voice for everybody.
