Wandsworth Council leader Ravi Govindia has been highly commended in this year’s prestigious Housing Heroes awards.
Cllr Govindia was honoured in the 2018 Inspirational Leader of the Year category for his work in delivering thousands of new homes in the borough.

A series of Meet the Funder events and application surgeries will be held during July and August to help people prepare applications to the Wandsworth grant Fund.
Previous recipients include the Kambala Cares project to tackle social isolation.
The council’s environment spokesman Jonathan Cook has called on the Government to offer financial support to local authorities that have shown they are embracing the electric vehicle revolution.
