🔴STOP LABOUR’S 20% PARENT TAX🔴
Independent schools educate more than 500,000 children in the UK.
Labour have no plans to deal with the number of pupils that would enter state education as a result of parents being unable to afford the 20% increase in fees.
Their new tax would not raise nearly enough to fund the creation of enough new state school places.
Locally, around a quarter of children in the Tooting constituency attend an independent school. That means thousands of parents will be hit with an unaffordable 20% tax.
Labour have no plan on state schools or where the thousands of extra pupils in the state sector would go to school.
