Growing up in the West Midlands, Tom moved to London to embark on an early career in governance, supporting public and private sector organisations to be more effectively run, more transparent and accountable with public funds.
Tom worked at a London based Institute which grew from an arm of the NHS, specialising in organisational governance, culture and leadership before being headhunted by a leading company in their national governance team. Tom is now a business owner where he continues to support some of our largest public sector organisations to provide best value to the public and where he has been recognised for his work with a national award nomination.
He has built on his early career charitable and public life contributions by being appointed as a Trustee of the Wandsworth Care Alliance, which delivers community projects, partnerships and promotion of views of local patients and service users.
Tom is passionate about the environment, being an active member of local campaign groups and is a member of the Tooting Commons Management Advisory Committee to ensure that Bedford Ward and Wandsworth is the cleanest and greenest Borough in London. Whilst balancing his own career, in the last year Tom has supported national research trials into Covid-19.
