Local residents interested in working in the construction industry are invited to a recruitment event on 31 January.
There are over 5,000 jobs being created in Wandsworth with opportunities on development sites within Wandsworth and the Nine Elms area.
Residents living in Wandsworth or Lambeth who are either interested in a career in construction or who are already working in the industry, can come along to find out about jobs and training close to home.
Organised by Work Match, some of the contractors attending the event include Battersea Power Station Development Company, Bellway, Tideway, Mace, Sir Robert McAlpine, St William, Linden Homes, Galliford Try, Taylor Wimpey, United Living, Redrow Homes, Ardmore, JRL, Bennett, Northern Line Extension, New Covent Garden Market, Ballymore and Multiplex.
