Following the campaign to bring 'Boris Bikes' to Wandsworth, run by Jane Ellison MP and local councillors, Mayor of London Boris Johnson came to Fairfield ward to launch the extension last December.
Rental levels for the bikes are high and there are stands in convenient places, like the one next to Wandsworth Town station. With thousands of journeys starting locally, it is clear the scheme is very popular with residents.
